When they went

Each lake is dated by the best evidence on record. The 2018 lake survey says which year it was gone by. Satellites have watched for water since 1984. Survey maps printed from 1914 to 1980 show water where there is none today.

The 2018 lake survey noted what stands on each site and who filled it in. Lakes known only from old maps have no reason on record.
